SCOTTSDALE, AZ – On Wednesday June 14th, Eric Olsen is getting hauled away and locked up along with other local area executives in an effort to raise money for “Jerry’s Kids” and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Mr. Olsen will be “arrested” from Fasturtle®’s North Scottsdale office at approximately 10:45 am and driven to the “Maximum-Appreciation Facility” at the Capital Grille where he will meet his fellow executive jailbirds. In addition, the general public is invited to attend the “lock-up” in order to network with the business leaders, donate money, and win amazing door prizes. Once all the executives arrive, they will pool the money that they raised and donate the entire sum to the Greater Arizona Chapter of the MDA. Mr. Olsen’s bail has been set at $2,400 and he is reaching out to Fasturtle® partners and friends to help him raise the money needed to support this worthy cause.

Following this very clever charitable event, the Greater Arizona Chapter of the MDA will be added to the growing list of organizations throughout the valley that are aided by Fasturtle® Community Affairs. Conceived by Fasturtle®‘s president, Eric Olsen, the six year old program helps as many worthwhile charities in the community as possible. From designing and building websites for non-profit organizations to fun events such as the MDA Lock-up, Fasturtle® Community Affairs is always looking to lend a hand to those in need.

The greater Arizona Chapter of MDA serves people with neuromuscular disease by providing a clinic at Barrows Neurological Institute, assistance with the purchase and repair of wheelchairs, braces and communication devices, and a special camp for “Jerry’s Kids” each summer. MDA also funds research grants to help find treatments and cures for 43 neuromuscular diseases that affect people of all ages.
